Power Handling & Performance

Soundstream’s subwoofers are engineered to deliver both clean, musical bass and high-output performance. The 15″ Tarantula T5 sub handles 2600 W peak / 1300 W RMS, while the smaller 12″ version manages 2000 W peak / 1000 W RMS, each built with triple-stacked magnets and 3″ voice coils for exceptional power resilience. The Bass Xtreme BXW-124 offers 2400 W max / 800 W RMS, featuring a 2.5″ dual voice coil and long-excursion design for intense output with efficiency. Powered under-seat options include the USB‑8P and USB‑10P, delivering 300–400 W RMS via built-in Class D amps, perfect for tight spaces without sacrificing performance.

Enclosure Compatibility & Design

Soundstream subs are engineered to perform exceptionally in both sealed and ported enclosures, offering flexibility in tuning for accuracy or output. Many models feature dual 2-ohm voice coils for wiring versatility, die-cast aluminum baskets for rigidity, and poly-foam surrounds for improved excursion.
